The challenge
Brookfield was building the Bluewater residential estate at Trinity Beach one stage at a time, with no guarantee of future work. Each stage had to be delivered well enough to earn the next.
What was delivered
- Delivered by Glenn as Project Manager during his time with LDI Constructions
- First stage delivered successfully, securing the next 15 out of 16 consecutive stages over seven years
- Much of the estate’s trunk infrastructure, including the collector roads and a large multi-cell culvert creek crossing
- Trunk water and sewer mains to service the growing estate
- All subdivisional services across every stage
- Construction through challenging ground conditions and creek crossings
- Flora and fauna management to meet strict environmental requirements

The outcome
The first stage was won with no promise of more. Its success earned Brookfield’s trust, and Glenn went on to help deliver 15 out of 16 stages over the next seven years, along with much of the infrastructure that serves the Bluewater estate today.
