The challenge
Cairns Airport was moving its maintenance system into TechnologyOne's ERP and wanted a solution that worked for both finance and maintenance, while supporting its move towards strategic asset management.
What was delivered
- Provided the subject matter expertise and design criteria for the financial and CMMS sides of the solution
- Reviewed the existing design and recommended changes to the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) module and fixed asset register
- Remediated the asset register: cleansing the data, rebuilding the asset hierarchy and setting naming conventions and mandatory data requirements
- Aligned the finance and maintenance registers into a single source of truth
- Tested the solution against the business's objectives and requirements
- Aligned the system to the asset management framework and processes, so it supports how the business works
